Title: Email Designer (Marketo)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Marketo Specialist to support their email marketing design and production efforts. In this role, you will work closely with the client's design team to maintain and optimize their Marketo platform and email campaigns. This is an ongoing, on-demand freelance role, with the potential for 20+ hours of work per week during peak periods. The Marketo Specialist will be required to visit the client's office in Eastgate, OH for initial training and periodic check-ins, but the majority of the work can be done remotely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client's designers to set up and configure email templates and layouts directly within the Marketo platform
• Assist with the creation, deployment, and optimization of email campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting
• Troubleshoot any issues or errors within the Marketo platform and work to resolve them
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to the client's design team on Marketo best practices and functionality
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Marketo features and recommend improvements to enhance the client's email marketing workflows

Requirements

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience working directly within the Marketo marketing automation platform
• Expertise in email campaign setup, list management, and reporting within Marketo
• Strong understanding of email marketing design principles and techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and digital marketers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to train and support the client's design team
• Experience integrating Marketo with other marketing technologies a plus
