This is a working management role, reporting directly to the VP of Event Management, and requires the ability to travel and oversee onsite execution of large-scale conferences, meetings, and conventions. You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering exceptional live experiences from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a live production staff and clients to coordinate and direct all logistics for audiovisual production of in-person meetings and events.
  • Must be comfortable being the main client contact for all production details.
  • Organizational skills and ability to follow procedures.
  • Coordinate with trucking provider and warehouse to ensure the transportation of equipment to and from the event location.
  • Produce and determine production schedules in conjunction with clients, meeting venues, and other vendors.
  • Strict adherence to production budget and project profitability.
  • Create and interpret AutoCAD drawings for live events.
  • Input labor needs into R2 for assigned events and manage labor crew on-site for shows and events.
  • Coordinate the setup and operation for AV equipment for corporate meeting and event environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and maintaining determined process.
  • Ability to manage project throughout the pre-production, production, and post-production process – this includes onsite event management, invoicing and securing client for the next event.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holiday as the event schedule requires
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years industry experience, with proven production and live event management skills
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD operation to create and modify drawings.
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Capable of learning R2 Rental software.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Personable attitude able to build lasting relationships with clients, and staff.
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally, and through email.

Additional Information

  • Technical or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
