Job Summary:
The Paralegal will support the legal review process by conducting initial assessments of contracts, master service agreements (MSAs), and other legal documents related to RFPs. This role ensures key contract provisions are identified, categorized, and distributed to appropriate stakeholders for review and approval. The Paralegal will play a critical role in streamlining the legal review workflow, reducing the burden on in-house counsel, and improving contract processing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial reviews of MSAs, vendor agreements, and contract-related documents.
Identify and highlight provisions requiring review by legal counsel and business unit leaders.
Apply preliminary redlines based on predefined contract guidelines.
Work closely with RFP writers and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely contract review.
Assist in managing contract workflows, tracking document status, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Support redaction processes for proposals in coordination with outside legal counsel.
Maintain organized records and templates for contract review and redaction processes.
Collaborate with legal counsel to refine and improve contract review procedures.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contract review, legal analysis, or paralegal work.
Familiarity with corporate contracts, vendor agreements, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience in reviewing and applying redlines to legal documents.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key contractual risks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal document management tools, and collaboration software.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
