Seeking an experienced Shopify Migration Specialist to lead a comprehensive platform migration project for one of our clients. This project involves transitioning from HubSpot CMS to a premium Shopify template while consolidating all web presence onto the Shopify platform.

Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
3+ years of experience with Shopify development and theme customization
Proven track record of successful CMS migrations (HubSpot experience preferred)
Proficiency in Liquid templating language
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design
Experience with Shopify APIs and app integrations
Understanding of SEO best practices during migrations
Project Management
Experience managing complex migration projects from start to finish

Responsibilities

Migration & Development

• Migrate existing website content from HubSpot CMS to Shopify platform
• Implement and customize premium Shopify template to match brand requirements
• Transfer and optimize all digital assets (images, videos, documents, etc.)
• Migrate existing Shopify store to new template while preserving functionality
• Ensure seamless integration between website and e-commerce functionality

Content Management

• Transfer all website copy and content with proper formatting and SEO optimization
• Organize and place assets strategically within the new template structure
• Maintain content hierarchy and navigation structure during migration
• Optimize content for Shopify's CMS capabilities

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct thorough testing of all migrated functionality
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Verify all e-commerce features are working properly
• Test and validate all internal and external links
• Perform SEO audit to maintain search rankings

Documentation & Handoff

• Document migration process and any customizations made
