Job Title: Social Media Strategist/Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Strategist/Manager to lead the development, execution, and optimization of our social media presence. This role is ideal for a hands-on partner who can bring vision to life, create content aligned with brand tone, and deliver measurable engagement and conversion results. The ideal candidate understands how to balance content creation, community engagement, data analysis, and brand storytelling in a way that connects with an audience of primarily women aged 40+.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy tailored to the brand’s target demographic.
  • Create and manage a content calendar that blends educational, lifestyle, and cause-based content.
  • Produce and schedule visually compelling and on-brand social media posts, including video content.
  • Engage with followers and nurture the online community across platforms.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, growth, traffic, conversions) and provide monthly reporting with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on voice, tone, and visual direction.
  • Recommend and test growth strategies, including paid ads and influencer collaborations.
  • Conduct light audits and competitive analysis to inform ongoing strategy adjustments.
  • Offer guidance on how social media integrates with broader digital marketing (e.g., SEO, PPC).
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and ongoing brand visibility efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for consumer brands, preferably in wellness, CPG, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong storytelling and content creation skills, including photography and short-form video (e.g., Reels, TikTok).
  • Excellent understanding of social platform algorithms and analytics tools.
  • Ability to write and edit content in a tone appropriate for a mature, health-conscious audience.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, social ad platforms, and tools like Later, Canva, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fractional/remote capacity.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting cause-based marketing or working with mission-aligned partnerships.
