Practically everyone is working from home right now. And if you happen to be a parent too, things just got even more complicated. School and childcare closures have parents everywhere scrambling to figure out solutions for their children while trying to maintain productivity. We realize being a parent in the COVID-19 outbreak is an even tougher job than normal. Creatives On Call is here to help with this list of resources keep your kids safe and busy while you work.

Child Care Websites & Apps 

Care.com: Care.com has some free online courses for kids in addition to child care help.

Sittercity: Sittercity is 50% off for new members affected by COVID-19.

Sitting Around : Sitting Around is only $5/month and allows parents to trade child care with neighbors.

enannysource: Sign up for free on enannysource.com. This site is known for its full-time nannies.  

UrbanSitter: UrbanSitter connects you with people you know and trust to care for your kids. $34.95 a month.

Bambino: Bambino allows you to pay in the app. A small fee is added at booking: $1.95 for junior sitters and $2.95 for more experienced sitters.

To Keep Kids Educated  

Sesame Street: Sesame Street has free online resources to help you talk to your kids about COVID-19 and other educational and entertainment content for kids.  

Scholastic: Scolastic.com has day-to-day projects and books to keep your kids learning. 

Google Arts and Culture: Expose your kids to art, history, and places around the globe for free.  

Kidsactivties.com: Kidsactivites.com has a full list of companies offering free subscriptions due to school closures. Plus, they also have activities for all ages and special celebrations.

Noggin: Nick Jr.'s noggin, a learning app for kids, is free for three months in light of COVID-19. 

Time for Kids: Time for Kids has a learning library and is free until the end of the school year.  

Adobe: Adobe is offering its Creative Cloud free for students due to campus closures.  

Amazon: Amazon's future engineer program offers free online coding classes for grades 6-12.

To Keep Kids Entertained 

Audible: Audible is offering free kids' books during this time.

25 Family-Friendly Films: USA Today compiled a list of 25 feature family films to watch while you're stuck in the house.

Storyline.net: Created by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, your children can enjoy celebrities like Betty White, reading them classic storybooks.

Nickelodeon: Nickelodeon launched a separate website (Nick helps) with free content. 

Cosmic Kids Yoga: Cosmic Kids Yoga has free yoga and mindfulness for kids age 3+. 

Explore SeaWorld: Take a virtual tour of SeaWorld Orlando.

San Diego Zoo: The San Diego Zoo has the most live cam options to view animals. Watch the kola and panda cams.

Free Coloring Pages : The Van Gough Museum has free printable coloring pages. Crayola and Just color also off free coloring page prints. Top coloring pages have your kid's favorite characters from frozen and other movies and tv shows. 

To Keep the Kids Fed

Burger King: Burger King is offering free kids meals to help parents in the coronavirus outbreak through the Burger King app. 

McDonald’s: McDonald's is giving away free kids' meals to school-aged children in some states. Call your local McDonald's for more information. 

Piada : Through April 6th, Piada is offering free to-go lunches for kids. 

SmoothieKing : Kids 12 and under receive a free 12oz smoothie with a 20 oz smoothie through the SmoothieKing app. 

TGIFriday's : Kids get a free entree with the purchase of a $20 entrée or more through online ordering. 

Moe's Southwest Grill: Mo's has a special going for every adult meal purchased you get a free kids' meal plus free delivery until March 28th. 

Other restaurants are offering free kids' meals which vary by state. You can check for deals at local chains and restaurants in your state here.
