We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Blog Writer to support a Technology client. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, a strong understanding of SEO best practices, and the ability to produce high-quality blog content that drives traffic, engages readers, and improves search engine rankings. As an SEO Blog Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and optimizing blog articles for our website and other digital platforms.

 

Responsibilities

  • SEO Optimization: Research and implement SEO strategies to optimize blog posts for targeted keywords, improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Content Creation: Write well-researched, engaging, and informative blog posts that align with our brand's tone and voice. Topics will cover a wide range of industries, products, and services.
  • Keyword Research: Perform keyword research using SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to identify high-volume, relevant keywords and incorporate them naturally into blog content.
  • On-Page SEO: Apply on-page SEO techniques, including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and alt text for images, to enhance blog visibility.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the SEO and content teams to develop a content calendar, plan blog topics, and ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Content Editing: Edit and proofread blog posts to ensure they are free of grammatical errors, well-structured, and adhere to SEO best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track the performance of blog posts and suggest improvements based on data insights.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in SEO, content marketing, and the industry to ensure blog posts are relevant and timely.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO blog writer or content writer, with a portfolio of published work.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and error-free content.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to match brand voice and target audience.
  • Strong research skills to create content on a wide range of topics.
  • Attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
