The Digital Content Specialist helps promote client through all forms of digital media, including video (live and produced), audio, photo, graphic, social, web, app and written platforms. The content developed will inform, motivate, train, inspire, influence and/or sell the intended information to varying audiences of internal and external stakeholders. 

This position will produce content in a highly collaborative and cross-functional process, with a special focus on turning complex information into user-friendly content in a fast-moving corporate business environment. This position works closely with employee-partners from all levels and all functions.

The successful candidate will possess both creative and analytical mindsets and will successfully couple excellent communication skills with a collaborative nature to produce digital assets that deliver on expectations and proposed goals. 

Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Project Types: Includes announcements, messaging, training materials, branding, and promotional assets.
  • Project Management & Tracking: Oversee projects with video, audio, photo, graphics, and web/mobile elements. Maintain status updates, briefs, time tracking, notes, budget, and communications.
  • Creative Expansion: Think creatively to extend project scope and enhance communication plans.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure content meets brand, legal, and client standards.
  • Content Production: Create and edit video, photo, and graphic content for web, social media, and email on tight deadlines.
  • Vendor Management: Utilize vendors and equipment, including freelance talent.
  • Digital Publishing: Use editing and HTML skills to manage and publish content on various platforms.
  • Archives Management: Maintain and tag multimedia archives for future use.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on digital media trends and integrate best practices.

Customer Service

  • Project Management: Ideate, develop, and execute projects, ensuring content meets client requirements and fostering relationships.
  • Requirement Gathering: Identify and facilitate project needs through briefs, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Feedback Integration: Incorporate project feedback promptly to stay on schedule.
  • Budget Oversight: Understand and manage project budgets, reconciling expenses with clients and accounting.
  • Client Advising & Communication: Provide guidance on best practices and emerging trends. Keep clients updated on project status.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track ROI and KPIs, and prepare regular reports for management and clients.

Requirements

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in content creation (corporate, agency, entertainment, or educational).
  • Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom).
  • Education: Bachelor’s in digital journalism, media, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, oral, writing, and editing skills; ability to simplify complex information.
  • Portfolio: Strong storytelling and design skills with an online portfolio.
  • Content Production: Proven track record of engaging, informative content; ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Detail-Oriented: Outstanding attention to detail, able to work under pressure, and implement feedback effectively.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with storyboards and script writing.


RECOMMENDED CAPABILITIES

  • Experience: Prior corporate or agency experience required.
  • Animation & Graphics: Knowledge of animation and 3D graphics, especially with Adobe Creative Suite (Animate, Character Animator, Dimension).
  • Audio Production: Experience in producing audio from multiple feeds.
  • Live Event Production: Experience with live-streamed events and managing video/presentation feeds.
  • Interactive Content: Ability to design and test interactive content for digital channels and campaigns.
  • Visual Communication: Familiarity with visual communication principles.
  • Web Skills: Comfortable with content management systems and web design/updates.
