We are seeking a part-time consultant with extensive experience in trade show planning and management to join our exhibit client's team. This part-time role will require you to manage 50-70 events for 2025. Most of these are small-scale events, with only 5-6 requiring large exhibits and significant logistical coordination. Due to current bandwidth limitations, the current staff is unable to handle this internally and is seeking a consultant to work 15-20 hours per week, potentially increasing to 25 hours.

Responsibilities

• Event Registration: Oversee the registration process for all events.
• Hotel Booking: Coordinate accommodations for events, ensuring optimal logistics and cost-efficiency.
• Schedule Management: Confirm and organize event schedules and plan future trade show calendars.
• Budget Management: Manage the budget for travel and other related expenses.
• Client Interfacing: Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients and internal representatives, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

• Trade Show Experience: Must have a proven background in managing trade shows and events, not just general project management or marketing experience.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients.
