We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the migration of a client website from Webflow to a new TBD Content Management System (CMS). The Project Manager will oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring that the migration meets business requirements, remains on schedule, and stays within budget. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and vendors, ensuring timely milestone achievement and stakeholder alignment.  In this role the PM will do more than just schedule and coordinate, they need to lead the team of internal stakeholders, employees, external agencies and technical staff through the engagement all the way to completion.  This includes not only traditional PM based responsibilities but executive level interactions and reporting.  

 

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:

-Develop, manage, and communicate a detailed project plan, timeline, and budget.
-Track project progress and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
-Ensure project milestones such as design, wireframes, and functional requirements are met.
-Facilitate decision-making by guiding requirement-gathering and coordinating inputs from key stakeholders.

Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination:

-Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external vendors, and the selected agency.
-Organize and lead weekly meetings to review progress and address any issues.
-Support the vendor selection process by evaluating proposals and assisting in the final decision-making.

Technical Oversight and Migration Management:

-Work closely with technical resources to address migration challenges, such as redirect setup and content transfer.
-Ensure seamless transition from Webflow to the new CMS, minimizing downtime and preserving content accuracy.
-Identify opportunities to automate parts of the migration process where possible.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance:

-Anticipate and mitigate project risks, adjusting plans as necessary.
-Ensure stakeholder feedback is integrated into each project phase to prevent rework.
-Oversee quality checks, testing, and validation to meet the website’s functional and visual standards.

Requirements

-Proven experience in project management for website replatforming, ideally from Webflow or similar platforms.
-Familiarity with various CMS platforms (experience with Webflow a plus).
-Strong understanding of digital marketing, content management, and web operations.
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
-Experience with stakeholder engagement, particularly in managing executive and cross-functional team relationships.
-Familiarity with Salesforce or Hard Hat is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

-PMP or relevant project management certification.
-Technical knowledge in CMS architecture, content migration tools, or web development processes.
-Experience in working with headless CMS solutions and other modern web technologies.
